Skin-attached bioelectronics for deep-brain stimulation during sleep.
Our new paper introduces NEUSLeeP, a skin-attached bioelectronic platform that combines wearable electrophysiological monitoring with targeted transcranial focused ultrasound. In the human sleep study, subthalamic stimulation increased REM sleep and reduced REM latency, demonstrating a non-invasive method for monitoring and modulating deep neural circuits during natural sleep.
